Memorabilia experts are excited by the unique sale. Ted Owen, from London-based entertainment auction specialist Cooper Owen, described it as an amazing chance for fans to own the famous car. "Lady Penelope"s pink Rolls-Royce is familiar to generations," he said. "We expect it will attract a lot of bids from fans and collectors alike." The auction started on 12 July and lasts for 10 days. Although a reserve price has been set, it remains confidential between the seller and the website until it has been met.
The online auction does mean one thing, though - Parker will be down the Job Centre searching for a new chauffeuring role!
