Another star of last week"s LA Motor Show will set Honda fans" pulses racing! The firm unveiled this Civic-sized, coupé-shaped concept - and it points the way to the return of the legendary CRX.

Auto Express first broke news of plans for a compact coupé in 2004, and finally Honda has shown us the model that hints at the newcomer"s arrival. Officially badged the Remix, it is described as "a two-seat sports car focused on agile performance that can also provide exceptional practicality".

The newcomer will be in competition with VW"s new Scirocco. While the original CRX was built in 1984, the badge last appeared in the UK in 1997. Expect to see more of the new version next year.
