For 2005, bosses have upped the ante on the standard car and are also offering the new Mulliner Driving Specification. MDS buyers get huge 20-inch, seven-spoke alloys with stickier tyres, giving a more athletic look and improved handling.
Drilled pedals, a chrome and leather gearstick, new seats plus a choice of trim combinations will mean a more sporty interior, too. The standard Conti gets voice activation for the in-car phone and the choice of magnolia leather with colour-matched seatbelts. Both models benefit from more options, such as aluminum dash panels and a multi-function steering wheel. The Continental GT costs í‚á£112,750, while the MDS is an extra í‚á£6,000. Orders will be taken from October.
