It"s a whole new take...

It"s a whole new take on the teaser shot! BMW has shunned the traditional shady photograph in favour of a short film, to give us a first glimpse at its all-new 5-Series.

The film shows hundreds of silver balls moving in unison, before settling and depicting the roof, bonnet and shoulder line of the newcomer. Although it"s difficult to tell too much at this stage, the steeply raked rear windscreen appears to continue the modern trend for infusing coupe styling into four-door saloons.

The German firm has also confirmed that the "5" will be officially unveiled on Monday November 23 - with the ceremony streamed live on the internet.
