A spokesman for the firm explained: "This reptile is a relatively small but very nimble athlete. Also, it"s a specialised hunter with strength and agility, quick reflexes and clear target orientation - a concept that not only acknowledges this new Porsche, but also the brand as a whole." But after giving us this PR blurb, he added: "Anyway, we couldn"t call it the Boxster Coup탩. The Boxster name is an amalgamation of boxer, relating to the flat-six engine, and roadster - referring to the folding roof which this car clearly doesn"t have."

Michael Blaze, managing director of the firm from Brackley, North-ants, said: "We have used our specialist knowledge to produce a car along the same design principles. The EOS"s shape has been created with the latest aerodynamic modelling technology to ensure it will be stable at high speeds."
Blaze hopes this will help it be-come the true spiritual successor to the legendary McLaren F1. As with that car, the newcomer is a three-seater in which the driver is positioned centrally.
Both the chassis and bodywork are made from weight-saving carbon fibre, and the model featuresa mid-mounted engine with more than 500bhp available. The EOS can sprint from 0-60mph in around 3.5 seconds, and go on to a top speed of more than 200mph. Despite this impressive performance, the gearbox will be manual and there are no driver aids such as ABS or traction control. However, the car will get a few creature comforts, including climate control and leather trim.
The EOS will be available from 2007 and cost around í‚á£300,000. Only 20 a year will be made.
