Production of Kia"s cee"d family hatchback has started at a plant in Zilina, Slovakia, which cost one billion Euros.

The site was opened last week in a lavish ceremony attended by Kia boss Euisan Chung, Zilina Mayor Jan Zolta and 1,500 production staff. When fully operational, the factory will produce up to 12,500 examples of the car each month.
