Christened the F430, a name Ferrari trademarked for use across the world in March and April this year, the car will debut a radical new look penned by Pininfarina, under the watchful eye of Ferrari design chief Frank Stephenson. The newcomer is expected to make its public debut early next year at the Detroit Motor Show in January, before going on sale in the summer.

Research from EurotaxGlass"s price analysis shows that despite a 145% rise in diesel sales over the past decade, the huge supply of used cars is not damaging resale prices. In fact, diesels in the quality medium saloon class are holding up far better than petrol motors.
For example, the price gap between a year-old BMW 320 diesel SE and the equivalent 318 petrol SE is ÷£2,175, while the oil-burner only costs ÷£1,810 more when new.
As the cars age, the diesel becomes better and better value, which suggests that the rising demand for diesels extends from the showroom right through the second-hand market. This increasing popularity is easy to understand when considering diesel"s cheaper running costs, and lower CO2 emissions.
Richard Crosthwaite of Glass"s Guide commented: "while a large proportion of new diesel sales can be attributed to the corporate market, it is high demand from consumers that has kpet prices firm. Buyers recognise that diesel technology has moved on significantly, offering refinement, performance and economy."
