Take a look at the fastest Pagani Zonda ever made! This is the amazing new R model, which features a tuned version of Mercedesò€™ 6.0-litre V12 AMG engine, producing 750bhp and 710Nm of torque.

That means the 0-62mph sprint now takes only 2.7 seconds ò€“ nearly a second faster than the current Zonda can manage ò€“ and top speed is a remarkable 217mph.

Thanks to new Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, it can stop just as quickly while the majority of the body is now made from a carbon-titanium composite that increases strength, plus reduces weight.

In total, the new bespoke chassis shares only 10 per cent of its design with the current Zonda F. And in a move that will please keen track drivers, the set-up is now fully adaptable, too.

Suspension can change from stiff to super-stiff, and aerodynamic options range from a high downforce setting to a super-slippery one that allows the car to hit 217mph.

But matching the exceptional performance is an equally impressive price tag. Estimated to cost Ò£1.25million, the Zonda R promises to be a real collectorsò€™ item.
