The Coupé is...

The Coupé is a few years away yet, but Jaguar is readying a snarling XFR super saloon to tackle the likes of the BMW M5 next year.

The firebreathing 5.0-litre supercharged V8 model gets beefy brakes and stiffer suspension to rein in the extra power. And with a low front splitter, bigger air vents and a neat rear spoiler, it will look the part, too. Sales are due to start before the end of 2009.
