Using an FM transmitter to relay music from your MP3 player to your in-car car stereo can be a disappointing experience. Often, the frequencies are too cluttered to get a clear signal, particularly if youò€™re driving around town.

The Spyker driver image, son of Eighties F1 star Manfred Winkelhock, started the race from the pitlane on wet tyres and ended up leading when it began to rain in the early stages.
“To lead a Formula One race is something nobody can take away from you,” he said. “You have it for your whole life. It wasn’t easy – I think I did 112 miles of testing before this weekend, and that was three months ago. So I have no experience with the car, or with the tyres or anything.”
In the re-started event, Winkelhock was soon passed by the front-runners, before retiring with hydraulic failure. “It hasn’t been easy going from a DTM car to a Formula One car,” added the 27-year-old. “It’s a very different driving style. And next week I will be back in the DTM car at Zandvoort in Holland, so I’ll have to change all over again.”
However, the German is unlikely to race for Spyker in Hungary next month. Williams tester Narain Karthikeyan and Honda third driver Christian Klien are both trying to raise funds to take the seat for the rest of the season.
