The TDV8 is the highlight...
The TDV8 is the highlight in a range of revisions to the brand"s off-road flagship. The diesel model slashes the car"s 0-60mph sprint time to 8.4 seconds - more than four seconds quicker than the outgoing TDV6 - yet offers the same 25.1mpg fuel economy.
Other new features include beefier brakes, revised suspension for improved handling and the addition of the firm"s Terrain Response system for the first time. Supercharged models also get an electronic rear differential to help in the rough stuff.
Inside, buyers get the option of cooled front seats and all models boast improved stowage. Relocated side airbags, a new electronic handbrake and improved cabin materials also feature.
The revised model hits showrooms towards the end of the year, with prices ranging from ÷£55,000 to ÷£65,000.
