Top of the earners at...

Top of the earners at the event - held at the Fiorano circuit in Maranello, Italy - was the last front-engined racer to win the Le Mans 24 Hours. The 330 TRI/LM Testa Rossa Spyder of 1962 went for ÷£4.7million.

Meanwhile, a 340/375 Berlinetta Competizione car from 1953, finished in Carrera Panamericana race livery, fetched ÷£2.8million.
