Using an in-ear hands-free kit isnò€™t for everyone, as its size and weight can prove uncomfortable. But there are no such problems with the super-light UFO from Bluetrek. Weighing in at eight grams, it is all too easy to forget it is even on your ear!
Itò€™s only fractionally bigger than a two pound coin, and nestles against the side of the ear, rather than in it. The UFO is held in place by a thin wire clip which can be uncomfortable at first, although thereò€™s a range of sizes and shapes to help get a good fit. We tried the clips on several people, and they all found a solution. The narrow over-ear clip allows the UFO to be used with glasses, too. The size makes it easy to wear, but the small buttons are hard to operate, and it was difficult to know if a touch had registered.
We had no problems hearing callers, but we werenò€™t as audible at the other end, probably due to the microphone being so far from our mouth. Itò€™s the weight and size that impress most, though ò€“ no rival matches it in this area.

So why buy? Incredibly light weight, extremely small and decent sound quality for the operator.
