The Tigra will differ...
The Tigra will differ visually from standard models, thanks to the addition of Vauxhall"s stylish "tuning fork" alloys, deep side skirts and a large front airdam. Under the bonnet will be a new 1.6-litre turbocharged engine, which is also earmarked for a hot version of the Corsa, developing in excess of 160bhp and delivering a 0-60mph time of less than six seconds. Joining the range in 2005, the Tigra VXR will cost around í‚á£17,000.
We were the first magazine...
We were the first magazine to give you a glimpse of the new Kia Venga supermini last week.
Now, Auto Express can show you official pictures of the interior and rear of the new star. And a spokesman for Kia promised that the Venga cabin will have ò€œmore of a premium feel than we have ever seen before on our productsò€.
He added: ò€œItò€™s the first interior thatò€™s entirely the work of design boss Peter Schreyer, and has a family look.ò€ The Venga gets a V-shaped centre console with a big multifunction dial.
Ò A large storage area ahead of the gearlever will house two 12V charging sockets, allowing devices such as a mobile phone and sat-nav to be powered up at the same time. An MP3 input is located in the same place.
But the carò€™s cabin wonò€™t only be plush ò€“ Kia says it will also be ultra-flexible. The newcomer gets a split rear bench seat that slides and fold flat. The Venga is due to go on sale next year.
