Is this the wildest-ever VW Touareg? Called the R50, it’s the latest addition to the firm’s high-performance range. It certainly looks the part, with massive alloys, wider wheelarches and lowered suspension. Performance will be strong thanks to a 4.9-litre V10 diesel engine tuned to give around 350bhp and 800Nm of torque. The aggressive newcomer will make its debut at the Australian Motor Show later this month in Sydney.

Your car will be whisked away for a service and, on returning to the UK, the rep will be standing at Arrivals with your keys and the paperwork - although they probably won"t turn it into a paper aeroplane! Audi bosses revealed that the scheme, which is set to go live at the end of next month, is about giving that little extra when it comes to customer service.
